This is a story of a child living with alopecia, who wears a wig as part of her everyday life. But this is not simply a story about hair. It is a story about identity, courage, acceptance, and beauty beyond how a person looks like.
What made our MIBF experience even more meaningful was having Khristine Legacion in our booth!!! She is the Founder and Brand Ambassador of Hair for Hope Philippines and Mrs. International Queen 2026, and take note! She is an alopecia warrior herself.
Her visit was a nice reminder of why stories like this matter. Children need to see that being different is not something to hide. They can simply love who they are, grow in confidence while inspiring others
May this book help children understand alopecia with kindness and acceptance. A book to remind us that every child’s beauty is so much more than what they see in the mirror.
OK LANG MAGING KALBO
