Selected by the UNESCO and the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) as a Remarkable Book for Young Readers in Indigenous and Endangered Languages.
The International Selection Committee highly valued the book’s story, significance, and contribution to children’s literature. The collection features books in more than 152 Indigenous and endangered languages from all over the world.

The book is officially launched at the 40th IBBY World Congress, held in Ottawa, Canada, on August 6, 2026. It is featured in the official Congress catalogue and exhibited as part of the World Congress program. The book will also be presented at future international book fairs and touring exhibitions, providing opportunities for it to reach a wider global audience.

Kidapawan-based children’s book author Mary Ann Ordinario secured a contract to translate and distribute her books to Malaysian readers during the 35th International Publishers Congress on July 7.

The memorandum of understanding was signed between Ordinario, representing ABC Educational Development Center Children's Books Inc., and Sheikh Faisal Sheikh Mansor, representing Malaysia's Shake Book Projects Sdn. Bhd., at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
