ABC Educational Development Center Children’s Books’ Sandosenang Bayani gains international recognition as De Bibliotheek Regio Eindhoven expresses interest in adding the book to its library catalogue.
A children’s book celebrating the courage, wisdom, and achievements of Filipino heroes is reaching readers beyond Philippine shores.
ABC Educational Development Center Children’s Books has received an encouraging email from De Bibliotheek Regio Eindhoven in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, expressing interest in incorporating Sandosenang Bayani: Mga Kuwento ng Tapang, Talino at Tagumpay into its library catalogue. The library found the book informative and a valuable source of knowledge about Filipino heroes.
Written by Eugene Y. Evasco and illustrated by Tin Javier, the book celebrates the legacy of twelve remarkable Filipino heroes and highlights their contributions to Philippine history.
For ABC Educational Development Center Children’s Books, the book holds a special place in the publishing house’s history. Evasco was the first author outside the company and the founder’s family circle to write a book for ABC.
As we celebrate this encouraging development, we are reminded that Filipino stories deserve a place on bookshelves around the world.
